1. Subscription Gifts.

On the subscription form you can fill in your own details, and those of the friend that you want to subscribe. Tick the box to subscribe your friend, but leave the box for your own subscription blank.

2. "Access Denied".

One of the reasons that we started the emailing service in the first place was because some people couldn't access our site from where they worked because of restrictive firewalls. Emails do go through firewalls. If you are denied access to our secure site (https://secure.horoscopeshop.com/webstars/custemail/entryform.cfm), you may have to try to reach it from another computer (and not another at your place of work!).

AOL subscribers have reported difficulties getting through. To safeguard your credit card details, we use encryption. If your browser can't use encrypted info, then you won't get through. The AOL browser seems to fail - we are looking at ways of making it possible to access the site with an AOL browser. However, if you have a Netscape or Internet Explorer browser on your computer, you could use that instead of the AOL browser. If you don't have one of those browsers installed, it may be worth installing it, for our site and many other sites on the web. Otherwise, you might try using some-one else's computer to subscribe.

If you can't do this - there is always snail-mail! See "No credit card" for details.

3. Yesterday's emails.

Sorry, but the answer is no! The daily forecast emails are compiled from Jonathan's text individually by our emailing program. It would take quite a lot of work to resend any emails you may have missed. See missing emails.

4. Formatting.

Our emailing program sends out the emails in one of two formats - plain text or html. It sends emails in plain text by default. If you followed the suggestion on the subscription acknowledgement page and sent a blank email to starmail@realitycom.com our program can recognise from that what format your email program can use. If your program can read html, your daily forecasts are sent in that format so that you can also have links to Jonathan's site embedded in your emails. If you then switch to using a program that can't read html, you will get the html formatting symbols displayed. You can choose to get your emails in plain text again by going to the Making Changes page and ticking the plain text box.

5. Blank emails.

People who use MS Internet Mail sometimes see their daily forecast emails as blanks. This happens if their records show that their email program can read emails in html format. For some reason, MS Internet Mail shows html format emails as blanks. (The text is there, but as an attachment, and it contains html formatting symbols). Switch to receiving your emails in plain text by going to the Making Changes page and ticking the plain text box - or consider using a better email program!

6. Making changes.

Want to change the name your emails are addressed to? Change the email address that they are sent to? See how long your subscription has left? Check to see if your email has been sent? All this and more is available at Making Changes . After making your changes, don't forget to press the button at the bottom of the page that says "Update these details."

7. If that doesn't work...

You forgot to press the button at the bottom of the page that says "Update these details." on the Making Changes page.

8. Give me more!

You can change your subscription at any time to receive forecasts for all 12 signs. Go to Making Changes and use the sun-sign menu to select "All signs". The usual charge for all signs for a year is $40. If you have already subscribed for one sign, you will be asked to fill in your credit card details again and you will be charged $30. Your subscription will then run for one year from the date you subscribed for all signs.

9. More details...

Your credit card details are sent to us in an encrypted form. Once a payment has been taken, your credit card details are destroyed. Encryption is very secure, and not holding onto the details is completely secure. We go for maximum security - sorry if you have to fill in all those details again!

10. Links in your emails.

To see links in your emails that you can click to take you to Jonathan's website, you need to have an email program that can read html. If you have, then just send an blank email to starmail@bubble.com (here) and our emailing program will take care of it.

11. Contact Jonathan.

While Jonathan may not be able to answer every email, he does read them and is glad to receive any comments or questions. Email Jonathan.

12. Complain!

What do you want to complain about?

Something Jonathan has written or something about Jonathan's website see here
The emailing service? Dave
Something about payments? Belinda
Anything else not covered above... Vanessa again!

13. Praise!

Thank you! Praise is always welcome. See above for the appropriate person to send your praise on to!

14. Write about the emailing service.

Write to me with any complaints, suggestions or if you have trouble receiving your emails and can't seem to resolve it after contacting your service provider.

15. Get my emails earlier or later...

Customers in countries East of Europe have their forecasts sent out at 19:00 UK time. Emails to the rest of the world go out at 22:00. These times seem to suit most people, so they will not be changed. If you live in a country that is East of Europe and receive your emails too late, perhaps we haven't listed your country among those that need the earlier emails. Please let me know - Dave.

16. No credit card?

You can pay by cheque. Make the cheque payable to Reality Marketing Ltd and send to:

PO Box 68
Bromley
Kent
BR1 3NW
UK

Payment only in US $ or UK £ sterling.

US$10 (£6.25) for one sign or US$40 (£25) for all signs.

17. Subscription reminders.

Yes, you will get a reminder that your subscription is about to run out 7 days before it happens. You can re-subscribe at any time - any days remaining from your previous subscription will be added to your new one.

18. Missing emails!

If you go to the Making Changes page, you can see whether the emails are being sent out OK. If there is a system fault on our server, you will see that there has been an error by looking at the times and dates that the last emails were sent out.

If there isn't a failure on our system and if you have ever received your daily forecast emails, then the problem is with the net itself, and most likely with your service provider. Perhaps their server is having problems...if your email isn't delivered, it is usually automatically returned to us. Our system picks up any emails that fail to be delivered, and you will see the associated error message that comes with it on the Making Changes page. If you copy that error message into an email and send it to your service provider, it can help them solve the problem.

19. Last resort!

If you can't seem to sort out the problem yourself, you can then email me. Bear in mind though that one of the reasons we have set up the website that helps you to sort out the problem yourself is that if you aren't receiving your daily forecast emails, then we are unlikely to be able to email you with anything else either! I will look into any problems that you can't solve, but I may not be able to let you know that I am doing it!
